Will it work on my hair type?
It is built mainly for medium to thick hair, and it performs beautifully on straight and wavy textures. On curly and very curly hair it separates the natural curl pattern and adds volume, so it is best kept for the days you want that looser, smoothed finish. On extensions, use it gently and avoid pulling directly at the bonds.
How long does shipping take?
Each brush is prepared and packed by hand, which takes 2 to 5 business days. Once it leaves our workshop, delivery takes a further 8 to 15 business days depending on your country. How long before I see a difference?
Shine and frizz control are cosmetic effects and they show from the first few uses, because they depend on how the fibre is laid down and on the lubrication your hair already has. What changes over the weeks is consistency: the more evenly your natural oil is distributed, the less it collects at the roots. Results vary with your hair type, its porosity, any chemical treatments and the products you use.
Does it help with hair loss?
No. Burble does not stop hair loss and it does not grow new hair, and we are not going to sell you that. The nylon tips give a pleasant massaging feeling across the scalp, but it is mechanical stimulation that accompanies your routine, nothing more. The benefits are cosmetic: distribution of your natural oils, manageability and finish.
Wet hair or dry hair?
Dry, ideally. Wet hair is more fragile and stretches, so brushing it in that state causes more breakage. If you have knots, loosen them first with your fingers or a wide tooth comb, then finish with Burble for the polish and the shine.
How do I clean it?
Pull out the trapped hair after every use. Every two to four weeks you can do a deeper clean: lukewarm water and a little mild soap on the bristle area only, without submerging the brush. Dry it with a towel and leave it bristles down somewhere airy. Never use a hairdryer, direct heat, long sun exposure, alcohol, bleach or abrasive cleaners.
